This toque is insulated using 40 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation, making it basically the warmest toque ever. While this toque looks and feels like any other acrylic toque, the thinsulate layer in the middle is considered the best thin garment insulation available, so you will be ready for whatever the weather has in store. These special synthetic fibers are thinner than polyester, and 1.5 times warmer than down. In fact, it so popular is even used by Porsche to insulate the roofs of their convertibles. So if it’s good enough for Porsche it must be good enough for you, right?
The insulation is between the layers of knitting, so it is not visible.
Best Decorating Options
Embroidery is the best option for this toque. The 3″ folding cuff is a great spot for your custom logo or design, but we are also able to embroider on the sides or back if you would like.
We also offer laser engraved leather patches, perfect if you want your design stand out. Our laser engraver can put your logo or design on a variety of patches, which are then glued and sewn onto the hat of your choice to ensure durability.
Applique is another popular choice. Shapes or letters made of canvas, felt or twill are sewn onto your garment create a timeless look. Appliqué is also less likely to pucker or get wavy over time. Another reason why it’s a great choice.
