The draw strings on this hoodie match the colour of the hoodie and there is a metal grommet where they enter the hood. This is very helful in keeping your draw string from being eaten by your washing machine. Yes, we’ve all been there.
Best Decorating Methods
Standard Plastisol Screen Printing is a great option for this hoodie. Plastisol will make bright colours and
opaque whites. Keep in mind that due to the polyester content of this hoodie we need to print dye blockers beneath your ink to keep the fabric dye from bleeding into the ink. This is fine, and is standard practice, but it does make your print thicker. If you want a thin print on a hoodie you have two options. You can print with reduced ink, which is pressed right into the garment and cannot be felt. However, the colours are translucent, and will be muted, taking on some of the colour of the fabric below it. It is a nice retro look. The other option is to use a hoodie with a higher cotton content. Check out the King Ultimate Cotton hoodie.
Embroidery is another great option and always works well on a hoodie. We suggest small areas to be the best on hoodies. Like left chest or sleeve. Large areas of embroidery on a hoodie can get wavy after the hoodie is washed. We can try and stop this by using a heavy backing, but it leaves the hoodie carboard like in the area of embroidery.
If you want a large embroidered area, we suggest applique, which is sewn on felt or twill or any other fabric. Embroidery and applique can be mixed for great results.

These hoodies are super soft. Once you are wearing it you will never want to take it off. We used them for grade seven grad sweatshirts and the kids were thrilled.
