Often with zipper hoodies, they shrink upwards, but of course the zipper doesn’t shrink, so this leads to the front of the zipper becoming wavy with hills and valleys along the zipper when you raise it. It can be awkward to wear a hoodie like this… Our experience with this Carhartt hoodie is that after frequent washes the front still lies flat. Also there is virtually no pilling. Give it a try for long lasting, great looking sweatshirts. This one can’t be beat!
Best Decorating Options:
Screen Printing Plastisol Inks: This is your best option. It will give long lasting bright and opaque colours.
Reduced Plastisol : also a great option. The inks will push into the fabric giving a more vintage muted feel to the colours. There is very little feel to the ink with this method.
Direct To Garment: Often used for photographic images is not recommended for this sweatshirt.
Embroidery: Is a great option. The tight knit of this fabric makes embroidery look fantastic!
